Drown Out the Noise and Do Hard Things with Hannah Wells
Mar 14, 2023We're all absorbing so much information and advice every single day, from social media, our friends and family, our business colleagues, mentors, and so much more. We're being told constantly what we should be doing. Sometimes as business owners, that's really helpful, because it's in the name of service and the name of helping us. But sometimes it can be really overwhelming and really exhausting. It can cause us to lose our sense of direction and intuition.
When it comes to scaling a business, there is nothing more important than following your intuition and understanding your core values, your brand, and your mission. That's what I've brought Hannah Wells on the show to share with us!
Hannah is partner and COO of Powerhouse Women. She is a personal development junkie who's deeply passionate about showing women what's possible for their lives. She brings her obsession with mindset and her love for business strategy and operations to powerhouse women and the community of women that she serves.
We're talking about how you can scale your business while drowning out the noise to get really clear on what your intuition is telling you! If you're an early stage entrepreneur, you're feeling a little burnt out, or just feeling like you need to relate to someone who's going through what you're going through, this episode is for you!
"Do less and do it really well. Don't be on every social media platform. Choose the one that you love and go hard on it and show up really well on that." - Hannah Wells
In this episode, you will learn the following:
1. What is the power of intention and how can it help you achieve success in business?

Here are some brief snippets from this episode:

This is a great episode if you are an early stage entrepreneur. There is nothing more important than following your intuition and understanding your core values, your brand, your mission. How you can drown out the noise and get really clear on what your intuition is telling you.
[00:02:04]
Hannah Wells is partner and COO of Powerhouse Women. She is deeply passionate about showing women what's possible for their lives. This is particularly special for me because I'm in the Girl gang community. I can't wait for you to hear more from Hannah.
[00:03:13]
Hannah is partner and COO of Powerhouse Women. She runs the behind the scenes of a community for female entrepreneurs. She is also a wellness junkie and obsessed with mindset and personal development. She has combined all of those things to create a really cool way of operating.
[00:04:08]
Hannah hosts several calls for the Powerhouse Women Girl gang community every single month. She worked in real estate investment in development for about ten years. Says she wanted to be in a space where she could be multifaceted. Says once you start putting intentions out into the universe, cool things show up.
[00:08:20]
This year is really about you're going to see us do so much less. And that is literally my motto right now, is like, do less and do it better. Everything this year is going to be so much simpler and so much better.
[00:09:24]
A lot of the time when I see people get into business, they're trying to do it all and be it all. Do less and do it really well. Choose the one that you love and go hard on it. That's what gets people off the ground enough to have a conversation about scaling.
[00:11:35]
A lot of people think that they're ready to scale. But if you have a messy foundation, all the weight of that scaling is not going to be able to carry you forward. One of the biggest things that holds people back is hiring help and hiring the support that they need.
[00:14:16]
There are so many different areas where people are pushing the break on their business because they don't know how to move forward. Most of it comes down to your mindset. I think we're going to see a big shift in the business space.
[00:24:51]
Powerhouse is growing community, growing offer, growing the reach that your brand has without really, I mean, are you guys growing the team? There's a lot going on behind the scenes as far as contractors and having people who support both of us so that we can do more of those.
[00:32:54]
I hid my pregnancy for seven months because I didn't want outside information skewing how I felt about motherhood. When you tune out all the noise and you just really get clear on your personality, yourself, your soul, your intuition, and you move forward from that place, magic happens.
[00:40:22]
We really do have the control to make our experiences feel good and feel aligned. Maybe you need to drown out the noise for a little bit, get back in touch with why you started. Come back to it when you feel more clear with where you're headed and what you're doing.
